Yves Carbonne's Bass Masterclass - Date TBC

French bassist Yves Carbonne is a fretless bass pioneer, and a master of the 10 and 12 string fretless bass. As a leading player of extended range basses, Yves knows and coninously explores the limitless possibilities of the bass as a multi-purpose instrument. Probably at the forefront of his work is the pivotal role he plays within the super bass trio with Michael Manring and Dominique Di Piazza. Even though he prefers the multi-string bass as his personal musical tool, Yves style is one that is universally relevant. He covers a range of topics in his workshop but essentially aims to encourage students to view the bass beyond its traditional confines. After an enlightening weekend with Yves, you won’t look at your bass in the same way again! It is a great honour to have Yves at Bass Master Class where his unique approach can be passed on to you.
